Tiffany D. Green
Fire Chief Tiffany Green, PGFD’s first female Fire Chief, hopes to inspire future generations of female firefighters. ‘This camp is vitally important as it will introduce young women to the Fire/EMS industry, and they will know that this is an incredible career opportunity where they can achieve a high level of personal reward and success. This camp will leave a lasting impression on these young women, and they will know what this career involves and how lucrative and satisfying a career of service can be.” Chief Green is committed to Camp Ember’s efforts and plans to continue to grow the camp each year.

Kimberly N. Bunn
Lieutenant Kimberly Bunn, one of the Camp Embers Coordinators, has been with the Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department since November 2000. During her 24 years with the Department, Kim became cross trained as a firefighter and paramedic, joined the Honor Guard, took numerous classes in Technical Rescue and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Lieutenant Bunn was given the distinct honor to develop a female fire camp for young women in 2023. Kim values spreading knowledge to the young women exploring different fire department skills. She believes these young women have a chance to experience just a little taste of the best job in the world, and hopefully will want to pursue a future career in the fire and emergency medical services.

Jordan T. Oglesby
Technician Jordan Oglesby, one of the Camp Embers Coordinators, is the Comfort Canine Handler for the Department as well as a member of the Recruitment Team. With eight years of dedicated service, Jordan Oglesby plays a vital role in supporting both the well-being and growth of the Department. As the Comfort Canine Handler, she works alongside our members, promoting mental health and providing invaluable support through the Department’s wellness initiatives. Jordan is also a key member of the recruitment team, helping to inspire and guide potential firefighters toward a career in the fire service. Her passion for fitness and health further strengthens her commitment to preparing future firefighters for the physical and mental demands of the job. Jordan looks forward to igniting your interest in the fire service and making a lasting impact on those who serve and protect our community.

Allison R. Plater
Allison Plater is a dedicated HR Analyst with a passion for empowering young women through her role as a coordinator for Camp Embers. Allison has been with the Fire/EMS Department for four years, and plays a pivotal role in recruitment and employee development. With her HR background, she excels at fostering positive workplace cultures and developing talent. Through these roles, she assists in the enhancement of the Department's workforce. Allison's commitment to mentorship and advocacy for women inspires the next generation of leaders.
