What is Camp Embers?

The Prince George's County Fire/EMS Department invites young women in the community to submit applications for Camp Embers 2025. The Department began hosting Camp Embers in 2023 with the goal to empower, inspire, and support strong women leaders while also introducing young women to the available career opportunities within the fire and emergency medical services. Campers, ages 14 to 18 years old, have the opportunity to explore their interests and skills through hands-on activities taught by members of the Department.
